THIS POST IS DEDICATED TO ALL THE TEENAGERS:
Guys and girls: Don't fuckin' let anyone tell you that you're not fuckin' beautiful, in any fuckin' way.
Remember this? And this?
Well — about 10-15 minutes after I woke up, I turned on my phone, opened the Facebook app (yeah, I'm one of those people; so what?), closed my eyes while it loaded, and opened them to this:
You can't even begin to imagine the horror I felt. It was like being face-to-face with Jack Nicholson in The Shining!
Shit. I'll have to finish this post later today. I have to get out of bed.
Stay tuned!

UPDATE!!!!!
"Being face-to-face" was an understatement. I was tired, and it was the best thing I could come up with at the time, while lying on my bed.
Anyway. "Most Beautiful Teenager" is back — and they've expanded. They've moved to Tumblr!
They've begun to increase their audience.
They've begun to increase the amount of teenage minds that are being exposed to distorted ideas of "beauty"(see the picture at the end of this post).
They've begun to increase the likeliness of teenage suicide. Teenagers already have enough fucking issues with self-image and esteem — boys and girls. My research shows that I was once a teenager, I know teenagers, I have friends of all ages from 15 to 75 (give or take), I've lived with teenagers — the list goes on forever. What more research do you need?
Not just certain types of teenagers have self-esteem issues. ALL teenagers do! So when a teenager sees another teenager on a popular website, s/he going to say something like, "How come my picture hasn't been posted, yet? Am I not prettier/hotter than him/her?"
Or let's say the picture has been posted.....
In the case of Most Beautiful Teenager, the amount of "Likes" on Facebook and Tumblr (plus reblogs on Tumblr) determines your sex appeal, if you will.
So let's say there are two girls, whose pictures have been accepted and posted on a site like Most Beautiful Teenager.
Girl #1 will be Zuzana. She's one of the most beautiful girls I know, if not the most beautiful — and I'm not just talkin' looks, of course. No, she's not my girlfriend (but the world's not perfect ;)). She also happens to be my biggest supporter, regarding this topic. Check out the movie she's working on, too.
Girl #2 will be Miley — Miley Cyrus, of course.
THIS IS ZUZANA
THIS IS MILEY
Now, let's say that the picture of Miley has more "Likes" and/or "reblogs" than Zuzana. Since Zuzana is (hypothetically) a teenager, she's constantly on the site, checking the amount of "votes" she has. She's not passing Miley, though.
Here are my points:
- I don't know about you, but I think Zuzana is above average in terms of what society deems as attractive. It doesn't matter how beautiful she is, though. The fact that Miley has more "votes" still makes Zuzana feel like fucking shit. She (hypothetically) commits suicide by sneaking in to her grandmother's room, steals blood thinning pills, takes quite a few, and as the pills kick in, she cuts herself. She bleeds to death at the same time as overdosing.
- Where does that leave Miley? In the same position, believe it or not. Because, as she's scrolling through the site, she notices that there are a lot of other girls who have a lot more votes than she does. She (hypothetically) sneaks in to her father's den, pulls a gun off of his gun rack, gets bullets from the drawer of his desk, loads the gun, looks in a mirror, starts to cry, shoots the mirror, cries harder, and harder, and harder, and turns the gun to herself, cries harder, and harder, slowly pulls the trigger, cries harder, and shoots herself in the head.
- Why did I choose a celebrity? Because people tend to associate celebrities with beauty.
- Why did I choose Miley Cyrus? Because she has had to put up with being judged in numerous ways and has been incredibly hurt by the shit she gets.
Unfortunately, that's not reality. As I said previously, the world's not perfect. But a guy (or girl) can dream, right?
They say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's also behind the eyes, because behind the eyes is the soul."
Remember how I told you to see the picture at the bottom of this post?
Hang in there, kids.
